I don’t have the words to express my feelings on being inducted as a Grand Ole Opry member tonight.
I still recall listening to the Opry on our old radio with my family. It was a highlight for us and for us youngsters, this was our entertainment – there was no television in our home way back then.
I’m so proud to be a member and I’m sure I’ll feel all kinds of emotions when I’m on that hallowed stage tonight – so if you are there or listening in at WSM Radio 650 AM online, say a prayer I can sing worthy of the moment’
