On Wednesday 4 December 2024, Gene Watson recalled taking part, along with a host of fellow country music artists, in a Randy Travis recording session on Thursday 13 May 2010.
‘I was remembering back, on Thursday 13 May 2010, when a bunch of us got together to record a single for Randy Travis‘ 25th anniversary album, ’25th Anniversary Celebration’ (Warner Bros. Records, 2011).
The single was ‘Didn’t We Shine’.
Later on that year, we performed that song on the Grand Ole Opry.
That was a fun time!’
