George would bring me out onstage at the end of his show to sing with him.

Hall (Monday 25 May 1936 – Friday 20 August 2021), and included the track on ‘We Love To Sing About Jesus’ (Epic Records, 1972).
In February 1972, Tom T. Hall (Monday 25 May 1936 – Friday 20 August 2021) saw the release of ‘We All Got Together And…’ (Mercury Records, 1972); one of the included tracks was ‘Me and Jesus’ (written by Tom T. Hall), which reached No.8 on the Billboard country music singles chart in 1972.
