On Saturday 21 March 2026, the CMA (Country Music Association) announced that the 2026 Inductees to the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum would be Paul Overstreet (in the Songwriter category), The Stanley Brothers – Carter Stanley (Thursday 27 August 1925 – Thursday 1 December 1966) and Ralph Stanley (Friday 25 February 1927 – Thursday 23 June 2016) – (in the Veterans Era Artist category), and Tim McGraw (in the Modern Era Artist category); the Medallion Ceremony will take place later in the year.
