On Friday 3 July 2026, Gene Watson issued a statement about a forthcoming show.
‘Friends, I am very sorry to announce that I have to cancel my upcoming performance scheduled for July 4th in Bandera, Texas at the 11th Street Cowboy Bar.
Unfortunately, I’ve come down with a bad case of the flu, and I’ve been advised by doctors to rest and recover.
The Bandera, Texas show at 11th Street Cowboy Bar will be rescheduled for Saturday 3 October 2026 and, if you decide to reschedule also, tickets for the Saturday 4 July 2026 show will be honored for our Saturday 3 October 2026 show.
