‘Having this weekend off, it seemed like a good idea to go kick around a few ideas in the studio with producer, Dirk Johnson.
It was just a very quick trip up and back, but it’s always a good time when I’m doing anything in a studio.
Besides working on cars and trucks, being in the studio is one of my favourite things to do.
We didn’t have other musicians this time, but when we do have a full session, I’m always mesmerized by what the world-class musicians can do.
It could hurt a guy’s feelings if he thought he was a good guitar player, and then heard the licks some guy puts down in a session.
But it doesn’t hurt my feelings – I’m just listening in awe and appreciating the creativity’
