‘I was pleased to hear my music is being heard by high school kids at the Central 9 Career Center in Greenwood, Indiana.

My friend, Brad Magness, teaches Visual Design there.  The school is celebrating 50 years of career and tech education, so I say we might as well play them some real country music to get them educated right.

Brad has a poster that I signed, front and center of the class, and he says the kids particularly like ‘Fourteen Carat Mind’, which was written by Dallas Frazier (Friday 27 October 1939 – Friday 14 January 2022) and Larry Lee Favorite (Saturday 6 January 1940 – Saturday 26 May 2001).

Brad and his wife Tammy Sue are also great musicians, and have opened shows for me many times.

Another teacher, Robert Briones, shown in the photo, just happens to be a fan of real country too.  It takes all of us to keep this music alive and well, so thank you Brad and friends for educating those kids on our kind of music’
