On Monday 20 April 2026, Gene Watson shared a photo from 2010, which featured him along with Chris Young.
‘I came across this photo from 2010, when I sang with Chris Young at his Fan Club party for CMA Fest (or was it still called Fan Fair then?).
Chris is a real country music singer, and deserves all the big awards.
He’s a member of the Grand Ole Opry, but we don’t seem to get booked on the same days, so we haven’t run into each other there in a while.
He’s just one of the fine young singers today like Zach Top, Ella Langley, Mae Estes, Jake Worthington, Drake Milligan, Chapel Hart, and others, who still appreciate classic country.
