On Friday 31 May 2024, Gene Watson, although he was appearing at The Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, was still finding time to partake in some car talk; Gene also found time to make a car purchase!

Outside the Opry, I bought a 2006 Chevy Suburban from good friend and Opry member, Ben Isaacs of The Isaacs.
Ben has kept this vehicle in mint condition, so I’m thrilled to have it to keep in Nashville for when me and the band members need to get around Nashville’
