Gene Watson Celebrates Hargus ‘Pig’ Robbins’ 83rd Birthday: Monday 18 January 2021

Hargus 'Pig' Robbins

On Monday 18 January 2021, Gene Watson celebrated Hargus ‘Pig’ Robbins on his 83rd birthday.

‘Wishing a ‘Happy Birthday’ to one of country music’s legendary piano players, Hargus ‘Pig’ Robbins.

‘Pig’ was born today in 1938 in Spring City, Tennessee.

I used to say if ‘Pig’ was not available for my recording session, we’d have to change the date.
