On Friday 8 December 2017, Gene Watson saw the release of his acclaimed Gospel project, ‘My Gospel Roots‘ (Fourteen Carat Music, 2017); one of the included tracks was ‘Build My Mansion (Next Door To Jesus)’, which was written by Dottie Rambo (Friday 2 March 1934 – Sunday 11 May 2008), and featured backing vocals from The Isaacs (Sonya Isaacs Yeary and Becky Isaacs Bowman).

Dottie Rambo (Friday 2 March 1934 – Sunday 11 May 2008) recorded ‘Build My Mansion (Next Door To Jesus)’ (written by Dottie Rambo) and included the track on ‘Sheltered’ (Daywind Records, 2009).
