Today (Wednesday 4 September 2019), Gene Watson remembered Dottie West (Tuesday 11 October 1932 – Wednesday 4 September 1991) on the 28th anniversary of her death.
‘It was a sad day when we lost Dottie West tragically as she was on her way to perform at the Opry.
We shared a record label, and a birthday (11 October), and were always friends.
She was a great lady and great singer.
