‘On Tuesday night (18 July 2023), we enjoyed a visit backstage at The Grand Ole Opry with Lauren Alaina’s bass player, Daniel Shifflett.
Daniel kept us laughing with his stories, and we all think he’s a great young man.
He said he had attempted to meet me on more than one occasion, but was kept away by venue security.
Maybe that’s because they recognised him as a bass player, but I assured him it was nice to meet him at last.
Of course, we had to get a photo of Daniel with our own excellent bass player, Staley Rogers.
