On Friday 21 July 2023, Gene Watson enjoyed a backstage visit with Jeannie Seely, and Mike Snider, and at The Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.

It’s always a regular family reunion backstage as we visit with everyone there.
I enjoyed talking with Jeannie Seely about her recent songwriting sessions with some of Music Row’s top writers.
Jeannie can do it all.
We were also entertained when Mike Snider dropped in and did his spot-on impression of the late, great Porter Wagoner (Friday 12 August 1927 – Sunday 28 October 2007).
We all love and admired Porter!’
