On Thursday 25 April 2024, Gene Watson’s management team reminded him that he needed a new photo shoot.
‘Just this week, my office reminded me I need a new photo shoot.
You know that’s one of the things they never tell you about, when you sign up to sing for your living.
Photo shoots are a miserable event for me. You have to stand around for 8 or more hours, trying to look pleasant, and they want you to change clothes every other minute.
But taking a quick photo with fans is never a problem, and even taking a photo with my friends, Moe Bandy and David Frizzell, can make me laugh.
You know Moe was cracking jokes the whole time’
