Our friend and host, Tracy Pitcox, always does an outstanding job with this real country music festival.

If you missed it this year, be on the watch for it in March of next year.

There are many excellent concerts, plus music for dancing, and so much more.

This year I had the pleasure of meeting up with my old friend, Dottsy, who you know from her big hit, ‘(After Sweet Memories) Play Born To Lose Again’, which was written by Kent M. Robbins (Wednesday 23 April 1947 – Saturday 27 December 1997); the track reached No.10 on the Billboard country music singles chart in 1977, and No.6 on the Canadian RPM Country Tracks Chart in 1977, as well as many other great songs.

I also enjoyed visiting with wonderful singer, Mary Lou Turner.

She has plenty of her own hit singles, but is well-known as the duet partner of Bill Anderson.

Their duet, ‘Sometimes’ (written by Bill Anderson), was No.1 on the Billboard country music singles chart for one week in February 1976.

Another great weekend in Texas!’
