On Tuesday 24 November 2020, Gene Watson mourned the passing, on the evening of Monday 23 November 2020, of fellow country music artist, Hal Ketchum.
On Thursday 17 May 2007, Hal Ketchum visited with Gene Watson at Curb Studio in Nashville, where Gene was recording vocal tracks for ‘In a Perfect World‘ (Shanachie Records, 2007), his debut album for Shanachie Records, which was released on Tuesday 25 September 2007.
On Sunday 27 May 2007, Hal Ketchum graciously submitted a ‘Peer’s Quote’ about Gene Watson, which was a special contribution to a unique part of an online ‘Celebration of a Lone Star Hero’.
