On Monday 23 May 2022, Gene Watson reflected on the previous Saturday night (21 May 2022) as a ‘Texas Saturday Night’.
‘It was a hot night in Rockwall, Texas this past Saturday (21 May 2022), when we performed at Southern Junction.
The crowd was massive and ready for a big night out. We did our best to show them a good time and I was happy to see young and old appreciating real country music.
We appreciated having the Red Dirt Texas legend, Stoney LaRue, at the show.
We also undertook shows, in June 2022, in Georgiana, Alabama at the Hank Williams Festival, and Margaritaville Casino in Bossier City, Louisiana where we performed some real country music’
