On Wednesday 27 March 2024, Gene Watson recalled ‘Make The World Go Away’, which was written by the great Hank Cochran (Friday 2 August 1935 – Thursday 15 July 2010).
‘Lots of folks associate ‘Make The World Go Away’, which was written by Hank Cochran (Friday 2 August 1935 – Thursday 15 July 2010), by the late, great Eddy Arnold (Wednesday 15 May 1918 – Thursday 8 May 2008), but I first heard it by my hero, Ray Price (Tuesday 12 January 1926 – Monday 16 December 2013), so that’s the version I recorded.
I sang it on ‘Larry’s Country Diner’ a couple of years ago, so here’s that for you, and hope you like it’
