On Tuesday 12 June 1979, Norman Rainey (1943 – Thursday 3 November 2022) made a special presentation, in Belfast, to Gene Watson, during Gene’s tour of Ireland and the United Kingdom in 1979

I’m not sure where the other photo was taken, but it was around the same time, because those mutton chops don’t lie.
That hair may not be as high as our friends The Malpass Brothers wear theirs today, but it’s close.
