It was tremendous to be honoured, and to visit with old friends, Rhonda Vincent, Howard and David of The Bellamy Brothers, Larry, Steve and Rudy of The Gatlin Brothers, Dan Rogers, the Opry Chief, and more.
Yes, there was a German Chocolate birthday cake involved, and we had so much fun going, we had to have 2 dressing rooms.

Gene Watson recorded ‘Together Again’, which was written by Buck Owens (Monday 12 August 1929 – Saturday 25 March 2006), and included the track on ‘In A Perfect World‘ (Shanachie Records, 2007); the track was a duet with Rhonda Vincent.
Buck Owens (Monday 12 August 1929 – Saturday 25 March 2006) recorded ‘Together Again’ (written by Buck Owens), and included the track on ‘Together Again / Under Your Spell’ (Capitol Records, 1963); the track was the ‘B’ side of ‘My Heart Skips A Beat’, which was No.1 on the Billboard country music singles chart in 1964.
