‘Thinking about the late, great songwriter, Hank Cochran (Friday 2 August 1935 – Thursday 15 July 2010), who was born on this date (Friday 2 August) in 1935, and passed too soon at age 74.
I recorded some of his songs over the years, but I remember after I recorded this one, ‘Don’t You Ever Get Tired of Hurting Me’, he called when I was over in Ireland, to tell me how much he loved my version, which meant so much to me’
