On Wednesday 10 June 2026, Gene Watson was saddened to hear of the passing, on Tuesday 9 June 2026, of the WSM Radio host, Bill Cody.
‘We’re hearing that the great WSM Radio host, Bill Cody, has passed away.
What a legend he was in radio.
He was a longtime host of the Grand Ole Opry also.
He was a great man, kind and thoughtful, as well as a consummate professional.
