On Thursday 21 December 2023, Gene Watson informed his fans about the work he was carrying out on his 1983 Chevy Monte Carlo SS.
‘I’ve had a few fans ask me for more information about my 1983 Monte Carlo SS that I’m finishing up.
This car only came in two colors in 1983, white and a rarer blue color.
Mine is blue. I’m having my friend, Ricky Roach, paint the blue color again, because I just don’t have the time and Ricky’s the best – he’s the only one I’d trust with this car!
I promised not to rush him, but I’ll show photos to you before long.
My son will show the car when it’s done.
This car came with a 305 HO engine and mine has blue & white interior. I’ve got Center line wheels on it (Super Lites). This photo is similar to mine, except for the interior and wheels’
