On Tuesday 24 September 2024, Gene Watson spoke fondly of ‘Pick The Wildwood Flower’ (written by Joe Allen), which he included on ‘Reflections‘ (Capitol Records, 1978).

I did change a few words (with permission from the writer, Joe Allen!), such as changing the original ‘Colorado’ for ‘Houston’ ‘

Gene Watson’s ‘Reflections‘ (Capitol Records, 1978) reached No.23 on the Billboard Top Country Album Chart in 1978, and No.14 on the Canadian RPM Country Albums Chart in 1978.
