Robb and Dave Kirby (Sunday 10 July 1938 – Saturday 17 April 2004), and was also recorded by Gene Watson, who included it on ‘Heartaches, Love & Stuff‘ (MCA Records, 1984).
In June 1984, Moe Bandy & Joe Stampley saw the release of ‘The Good Ol’ Boys: Alive & Well’ (Columbia Records, 1984); one of the included tracks was ‘He’s Back In Texas Again’ (written by Troy Seals and Wayne Newton), which was also recorded by Gene Watson, who included it on ‘Uncharted Mind‘ (Step One Records, 1993).
