On Monday 5 December 2022, Gene Watson announced the he had treated himself to an early Christmas present – a new tour bus for him and his acclaimed Farewell Party Band.

‘I gave myself a much-needed early gift last week – I purchased a new Prevost tour bus.
We all liked our old bus, but it was on a fix or repair weekly schedule, so it was time for a change.
I hope its next owner will appreciate it, as much as we did.

Our new bus was originally built for a band you may know, Lynyrd Skynyrd. If those bus walls could talk, there might be some stories there.
The new bus has been completely overhauled and I know we’re all going to enjoy it.
