‘I’m always glad to receive old tour posters and photos from my earlier years, because I wasn’t ever one who thought to hold onto things like that.
I was always more concerned with what was coming up next.
So when I received this tour poster from 1982 for a show in McAllen, Texas it brought up a lot of fun memories from those days.
I must have worked 340 days out of 365 back then.
We were always riding down the highway to the next job, but I always enjoyed it.
Tired, but happy, to be making a living singing.
I never dreamed that could happen, so I felt like I’d won the lottery’
