This special video message from Gene Watson was recorded by Sarah Brosmer of Lytle Management backstage at Grand Ole Opry in Nashville on Friday 18 October 2024, where Gene Watson had performed upon its hallowed stage.
Sean Brady developed the Original Gene Watson Fan Site between July 2004 and September 2004; the site went ‘live’ on Friday 3 September 2004, and was officially launched on Friday 1 October 2004.
‘I created the site because there was not an online site dedicated to Gene Watson at the time.
It was during these searches online that I became aware that one singer in particular, Gene Watson, did not have a website of his own, hence the registration of the gene-watson.com domain name.
The Original Gene Watson Fan Site aims to show an appreciation for Gene Watson, his country music career and the undeniable contribution which he has made to the country music genre.
Remember, there’s nothing quite like a song sung by the incomparable Gene Watson.
