Gene Watson’s Peers: Quote from Michael Pyle: May 2019

Gene Watson’s Peers within the country music industry believe in the sheer talent of this unassuming man from east Texas, so much so that Gene is regarded by many of them as ‘the singer’s singer’ – and rightly so!

All of Gene Watson’s Peers, who were contacted by The Gene Watson Fan Site, during 2019, were most gracious with their time and words.

It is here, within this special part of The Gene Watson Fan Site, that you have an opportunity to read a quote from Michael Pyle, which he submitted to this site on Thursday 2 May 2019.

Sean Brady would like to take this opportunity to say ‘thank you’ to Michael Pyle who has made a special contribution to a unique part of this online ‘celebration of a Lone Star Hero’.

‘A lot of people go though life never realizing their true potential.

It’s really gratifying when you see (or hear) someone doing something that you know that they were put on the planet to do.

Gene is absolutely one of those people.

He’s just special.  I don’t really know anyone that thinks differently.

He has always held the highest respect from everyone in every facet of the music business.

I’m sure others have said this, but he’s just a singer’s singer.

Pitch, tone, resonance, interpretation, it’s all there.

We’re all better for having Gene’s voice and songs as a part of the soundtrack of our lives’

Thank you, Michael Pyle, for your support of Gene Watson.
