About Gene Watson’s ‘My Gospel Roots’
(Fourteen Carat Music, 2017) (distributed by New Day Christian Distribution)

Note from Gene Watson
‘The music in this CD was inspired by my parents, Ted & Thelma Watson, who led the singing at our small church in Paris, TX.

Ted & Thelma Watson
Ted & Thelma Watson

My Dad led the congregation in music, playing the guitar as my Mother, brothers, sisters and all the congregation joined in the singing.

Iā€™ve recorded many of my familyā€™s favorites, as well as some new songs Iā€™ve come to love.

I hope youā€™ll enjoy these songs as much as I do.

Many thanks to these folks for helping me continue to sing for my living:
