‘I’ve shared this picture before, but just saw it again, so wanted to share for those who missed it.
This is from 1957, in high school, where the ‘Halloween Queen’ was being crowned (see the girls all dressed up in the back.)
In front, that skinny guy is me – and the young girl is my bass player, Staley Rogers’, Mother!
Staley’s mom, the late Patricia Ervin Rogers, was very talented.
We used to be called on to perform a lot.
What was so odd is that Staley worked for me for about 3 years before we figured out his Mom was my old high school singing friend’
